Read MoreSt. Patrick’s Hill Schools is a truly special place, one that is very dear to my heart. I have been and continue to be a parent for almost two decades. All my children have passed through St. Patrick’s and that speaks volumes of the kind of institution it is. I have seen my children grow emotionally, physically and educationally over the years under the care of this school. It is a warm and welcoming environment with competent staff and caring professionals. The discipline instilled in the students is at the very core of this institution and I for one, can state without reservation, that this is the fundamental reason why my children have grown up to be the respectable young men and women they are today.

It was 5th February 2002, what would be the beginning of my fruitful life. The official opening of St. Patrick's Senior School. I was enrolled to be in first Form 2 class. I had really bad grades in primary school, so getting a secondary school was almost impossible, I had almost given up and accepted my fate. But No, Mr. and Mrs. Kang'ethe saw the potential in me, and so it began.
Discipline was Key, and that has been my guide ever since. We were taught to respect everyone regardless of their ranking, believe in ourselves and in the power of God. We were also taught to be all rounded students, be it in sports, clubs or academics.
In a class of just five students then, we had the same undivided attention from the teachers as we did 2 years later with a stream of 50 candidates, that saw my grades improve from a D grade to an A grade. I did not think it was possible, but through the nurturing and guidance we received, well, it was clearly possible! Without St. Patrick's I wouldn't be a practicing Doctor, and for that I am forever grateful.
This school on the hills will forever be my home.
